So, Cliff's Notes version of what's been happening (not in chronological order by any means): :bulletblue: I'm expecting our 2nd child in April.  3.5 weeks to go (not that I'm counting or anything... except I totally am).  It's a boy. :bulletblue:  M turned 18 months :bulletblue:  M is saying more "words" (or half-words, or sortof-starts-wtih-the-right-sound-words...) and has picked up a couple more sign language signs super fast.  Others, not so much.  Others she knew and has stopped using completely. :bulletblue:  Got back into sewing more, made some nice progress designing a "quiet book" :bulletblue:  Broke sewing machine just as I go

Having a daughter has been a rollercoaster ride!  It seems most of my free time... isn't my own.  And I'm sleep deprived.  And I'm at work 8 hours every day. That said. M is a delight and a joy!  I wouldn't trade her for anything.  Her smile just lights up when she sees daddy, and when she clings onto me, it awakens the most tender of feelings in me.  It's so hard to explain.  All I can say is that it's 100% worth it.  It's as if a little empty piece of my heart has been filled up, and I can't imagine choosing to live life without it filled ever again. :)  <3 M turned 9 months old yesterday.  She's crawling now.  It's hard to believe th

Well for anyone who remembers my big resolution to start doing more digital painting with my tablet... it's kindof gone out the window.  And with a new baby, I have NO IDEA if it will be possible to pick it back up again for a little while (at least, until she's sleeping more solidly.)  So that's why I've been gone, and will likely continue to be on hiatus for a while.
