Actually, I'm not surprised, some of the most painfully ugly designs were up at the top because they got in early and got all their friends to vote. There was no realistic way I could have caught up. But one can wish.... Anyway, I was going to post my design to dA and get some feedback, but I can't find the file I saved. So, later perhaps.


While I'm trying to get used to being a full-time professional member of the workforce, I haven't done much with my art. It's a little sad to me, but once I get home from work at night, I just want to, well, veg. Art takes alot of energy and ironically, I'm out of practice enough that doing art isn't relaxing it's stressful. It may take a while to get back into things. Until then, please give some critique on my "WIP: You Can Still Be Free"? I have done some work on it, refined the chains and arms and detailed the hands, and started on feathers. I plan to find a scanner and post the newer version soon(ish). However, I'm really stuck as to how to draw the feathers without getting over-detailed or under-detailed. Also, I desperately need a reference for the face. Any good ones you know of?
